Never in my life would I have imagined that I would be asked to go into a room full of impressionable young women and speak. When a milestone like that comes your way, you can’t help but thank God for moving you in the right direction, so that you can be a blessing to someone else. I had been working so hard to transform my life, and now it seems like my transformation can help transform someone else. Grateful would be an understatement. I’m so emotional, thinking about the times when I should have died, the times when I wanted to die, and now I look back at this footage like… Thank you Lord! The girls are smart, brighter than I was when I was younger. All of them with their own set of questions and concerns, wanting to know how did I feel about this, and how did I get through that. All I could think at the time, was please let me say something substantial. Their mothers, equally pleasant and curious, all wanting to know about the lady that their daughters have been mentioning for weeks.
